    Hi,
    I just wanted to say that I am using Keepass on my Windows machine and that I am very happy with it. Finally, I do not have to remember all the different passwords anymore.
    I also would like to use it on my MacOSX machine, but there does not seem to be an installer and I have read that it does not run very stable?
    Please, make this great app cross platform.

    Sorry, ich weiss, total überflüssig und eigentlich sinnlos, aber ich musste meinen Dank einfach irgendwo loswerden.

    Keepass ist für mich eines der wichtigsten Tools unter Windows gewesen und es war schon ein recht grober Einschnitt beim Umstieg auf Linux. KWallet stellt für mich nicht wirklich eine Alternative dar.

    Danke jedenfalls für die Mühe und Arbeit, die Du Dir mit der Entwicklung der GUI für Linux machst. Weiter so. Smile

    I was hoping this would happen.

    I use KeePass professionaly on windows, and really like it. Over time, I found myself putting all my passworrds (private & work) into KeePass, but sadly they were not accesible on my mac at home…meaning that I would occasionally have to boot my work laptop - up to 3 or 4 times.

    No more!

    And donations? On the main KeePass site? Or is there a separate donation thing for KeePassX?

    KeePassX is what I always sought: a Password manager that runs just everywhere. My personal setup consists of a Laptop(MacOSX), a machine at work (Windows XP) and my own PC running Linux. I share the keepass-database using my subversion repository and it works like a charm!

    The only thing I am really missing is the “donate by paypal” button on your website :-) If you do not want to take the money for yourself yuo might want to take a look at Brams (vim) solution to that ( http://www.vim.org/sponsor/index.php ).

    Now can access this fantastic database on my old Mac at home.
    Great work.
    I encourage anyone who has made use of Keepass to contribute something towards this project. Most likely either programming skills or money would be helpful.
    I’m a terrible programmer but did send some money with Paypal quite a while ago.

    Great tool :)

    I installed it on my USB drive, so I can use it wherever i want, at work, at home, internet cafè.
    And there are no problems, because I can switch from Win, to my Linux box, keeping all my data secure

    Hello,
    nice to see that devolpment is still in progress,
    using 0.2.2 for quite some time now under Gentoo.
    I’ll get the 0.2.3 from SVN and play around with it…
    Although the Screens look very nice already.

    Hello!

    Unfortunately, KeePassX does NOT run under Leopard (Mac OS-X 10.5), because there are problems with the underlying Qt libraries.

    Is there any help in sight?

    Unter http://www.macmacken.com/2007/10/25/keepassx-noch-nicht-leopard-kompatibel/#comment-829 findet man eine Lösung für das Problem, das heisst man muss im Wesentlichen die Qt/Mac Open Source Edition downloaden und installieren weiterhin viel Spass mit KeePassX!

    Schliesse mich “cypher” voller Lob an, mit dem Unterschied das ich KeePass auf einem MiniMac Intel 10.4.11 und einem G4 10.3.9 laufen lasse.

    Besonderes Lob an den “Schöpfer” dieses Programms, ich erhielt sofort die richtige Antwort auf ein Problem das ich hatte.

    KeePass läuft rund und ist sehr schön und klahr gestaltet (Mac Like :-)

    I used to use Keepass on Windows, upon my switch to Linux I continued to use KeepassX. I found previous versions on Linux lacking some of the features I had grown used to in the Windows version but continued to use it because it was the best application of it’s kind out there. The latest round of updates have really brought it home. Great job guys!

    When I was using Windows I looked for a tool where to keep my sensitive data safe. I then chose Keepass since it was the only one tool really cross-platform thanks to YOU KeePassX.
    I then used KeePass for a short time on Windows until I eventually finished my switch to Linux.
    I was already feeling comfortable with 0.2 version, now 0.3 version has covered the gaps with KeePass for windows and is really FANTASTIC!
    I appreciate your effort and your work very much.

    I’ve used Keepass on my Windows PC for sometime now. Having recently purchase an Asus Eee PC I went searching for a Linux version and feared that I would have to manually input or at least import the information into a different password safe program, but fortunately KeePassX has come to the rescue as it uses the same database. I can now maintain one database and use it on both my Windows and Linux systems. FANTASTIC

    The KeePass is essential application for me. I am using the portable version from PortableApps.com because as System Administrator I move from one PC to another. For security reasons we should not re-use the same password all over, but I have to remember over 200+ passwords. At work the main OS will remain Windows, but my personal choice is Linux. I was facing real challenge how to keep my passwords organized and synchronized between Windows and Linux.

    The KeePassX is the solution right from haven! I just installed v0.3.1 on Ubuntu 8.4 and it worked including the global Auto-type feature. Perfect! :) That is the power of FOSS.

    Hi, I can’t begin to expression my thanks for this incredible application. I have a lot of password data, many are complex, and almost all require comments fields for additional textual information on password questions, other codes and etc. I’ve been using a couple of other password managers for a very long time. However, one went to Windows only and the other one, although very good, appears it might not have the interest of the developers as much as it once did. Downloads for it have dwindled. So, I started searching again for a new password manager that would work on several platforms, and meet all of my needs rather than a couple of text fields, and KeePassX is absolutely incredible!!! It is precisely what I needed and works in Linux and other platforms. What an incredible job you have done. And, it seems KeePassX has a lot of interest by users and is here to stay. And ALL of the features are what I was looking for!!! THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH!!! Duane

    I have been using KeePass for years.

    I use KeePass in Windows - downloaded from portableapps.com. I use KeePassX on Linux and KeePass for PPC works great on my Dell Axim.

    My passwords are with me all the time. KeePassX is fast, reliable and attractive.

    I have used Keepass under windows for a long time, and this is an absolutely awesome version for the MAC. Since I use Bootcamp I can use Keepass in Windows and open the same database from the MAC side as well.

    Nothing else I have tried comes close!

    I love this application and it always works perfectly!!! I hope it is here to stay forever. I have transferred manually long lists of passwords and other information into KeepassX and it works consistently and perfectly.
