username with an @

username with an @

Some service providers allow only your mail address as username for login. But the "@" in the username will be automaticly changed into "1/8" by the auto-type function and so the login fails of course.
I use the new version 0.4.3 but could find this problems in older versions, too. My Linux is SIDUX.
Is that a known bug? Does anybody know if there is a workaround for it? Up to know I always have to login without auto-type if my mail address is requested as username.

This is not correct. @ does not automatically change to anything. I use email addresses as usernames all the time and it works fine in auto-type and GAT.
It also does not have anything to do with your version of Linux.
And I am pretty sure that it has something to do with your keyboard - unfortunately do not remember the details. But at least you know that it can be fixed - - hopefully somebody will come along.

You may also want to do a search at the regular keepass board - there may be an answer there.
